Belize weather: Some rain expected

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says a tropical wave crossing today will bring some rain to the country.

Skies will be cloudy at times today and partly cloudy tonight, with showers countrywide and over the south tonight.

High temperatures are 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees inland, and 78 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures reach 81 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is slight to light chop.

Sunrise is at 5:35 Thursday morning after setting at 6:20 this evening.

The outlook for Thursday and Thursday night is for generally fair weather with isolated showers or thunderstorms only.
