Jasmine Hartin scheduled for three consecutive days of court appearances

Posted: Wednesday, August 11, 2021. 8:54 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Jasmine Hartin, the 32-year-old Canadian national charged with the shooting death of Police Superintendent Henry Jemmott is scheduled to appear in court for the next three days to answer charges relating to Jemmott and two separate matters.

Today, Hartin is due at the San Pedro Magistrate’s Court with respect to a charge of common assault upon an employee of the Grand Colony Complex, where she once lived. The allegations are that on June 22, Hartin went to the Grand Colony to retrieve personal belongings and see her children when she was denied access. She then got into a back and forth with security personnel and attempted to push Sandra Grisham.

On Thursday, she heads to court in relation to the charge of manslaughter by negligence for firing the shot that killed Jemmott, and on Friday she heads to family court for a custody battle with her common-law husband Andrew Ashcroft over their twin four-year-old children.
