By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has announced that three more Belizeans have lost their lives due to complications related to COVID-19 infection.
The latest COVID-19 daily report, issued for August 11, shows that the three new deaths bring the national total up to 344.
The new deaths also adjust the country’s fatality rate to 2.34.
Total deaths associated with the virus were split between 122 females and 222 males.
“Vaccines are now available for everyone; 18 years and older. Persons who have been vaccinated for at least 8 weeks are asked to visit any public health facility to get their second dose of the vaccine,” the MOHW said.
