Report: Victim Joel Aguilar, 27, dies in hospital

By Aaron Humes: Information to Breaking Belize News is that apparent beating victim Joel Aguilar, 27, of Belize City, died on Wednesday at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital.

Aguilar had first been reported missing before turning up at the hospital with a significant injury.

While police started an investigation with family members he was worked on by doctors and placed on a life support machine.

His family has reportedly said they do not know of or understand why anyone would attack him.

Police continue their investigations.
