Sixty-six new cases of COVID-19 confirmed

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has confirmed another 66 new cases of COVID-19.

According to the latest daily report, the new cases were detected among a sample batch of 1,389 tests.

Of the new cases, 34 were female and 32 were male.

The daily positivity rate stood at 4.85 while the country’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 14,738.

There were no new deaths associated with the virus.

The MOHW is calling on all Belizeans to ensure they follow the protocols in place to minimize the spread of the virus and to say at home unless conducting essential business.
