Vaccination campaign continues in the Belize District daily

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its COVID-19 vaccination campaign this week in the Belize District: in Belize City, San Pedro, Caye Caulker, and Ladyville.

The Ministry of Health is conducting vaccination at the Matron Roberts Polyclinic II daily from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 3 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon.

Vaccination is ongoing at the Central Health Region in Belize City daily from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 noon.

The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).

Vaccination is also on daily Monday to Friday at the Swift Hall and Port Loyola Health Center in Belize City, the Caye Caulker Health Center, and the Ladyville Health Center. All operate daily from 8 am to 3 pm.

In San Pedro, vaccinations are administered daily at the Lion’s Den from Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm.

The Ministry of Health also operates a mobile clinic that this week visited La Democracia and Mahogany Heights on Monday and Burrell Boom on Tuesday.

“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans 18 years and up to vaccinate at its vaccination sites countrywide.
