Belize Weather: Weather fair and fine going into weekend

By Aaron Humes: Fair weather prevails according to the National Meteorological Service.

Skies today will be mostly sunny and partly cloudy tonight with generally isolated showers except for thunderstorms inland this afternoon.

High temperatures are 91 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 96 degrees inland, and 84 degrees in the hills. Temperatures tonight will range from 79 degrees along the coast to 73 degrees inland and 66 degrees in the hills.

Winds over the open sea are light and variable and sea conditions are slight.

Tides will be low this morning at 7:30 and again at 7:40 this evening and high at 1:28 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:19 this evening and rises at 5:35 Saturday morning.

The weekend starts with partly cloudy skies and only isolated showers or thunderstorms developing.
