Two brothers busted with weed, one takes the fall

By BBN Staff: Two brothers from Fabers Road were taken to court on a drug trafficking charge on Friday, but one of them decided to accept responsibility for the drugs.

Shakell and Randy Franklin, ages 25 and 24 respectively, were charged with possession with intent to supply to another with respect to 94 grams of marijuana found in their home during a police search.

In court, Randy Franklin pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of simple possession, which the prosecution accepted.
