Domestic dispute turns into fatal stabbing

By BBN Staff: A Belize City man is dead after he was stabbed during a domestic dispute.

Albert Broaster, 47, was admitted to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital with two stab wounds to the upper body around 7:40 a.m. this morning and died of his injuries around 8:40 a.m. while undergoing treatment.

Police initial investigations revealed that he was coming from the Michael Finnegan Market when he encountered his partner who alleged that he repeatedly beat her and damaged her property and she was tired of it.

A struggle ensued during which his partner pulled out a knife and inflicted the injuries.

His partner is currently detained pending charges.
