San Ignacio woman stabbed during fight at party by well-known LGBT activist

By Aaron Humes: A Belize Defence Force Captain known for LGBT activism has been accused of stabbing another woman during a fight overnight in San Pedro Town.

The victim reports that she was attacked by another woman, known to be an LGBT activist in Belize City.

The victim sustained a large wound to her face and was treated. The alleged perpetrator has been held as part of police investigations.
