By BBN Staff: The national curfew of 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. will continue until the end of August.

We have seen an amended statutory instrument signed by Minister of Health and Wellness Michel Chebat authorizing the continuation.

Some have argued for even stricter curfew hours to regulate after-work partying and social gatherings. Others insist the country needs to open up and find ways of living with COVID-19.

It comes as active cases have risen to near 700 just about two months after a low of 173 in June.
