Deborah Ruiz appointed as Social Security Board CEO

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Social Security Board (SSB) said Deborah Ruiz has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer said the SSB in a press release.

Ruiz has been serving as Acting CEO since December 2019.

“Mrs. Ruiz brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organization, having held various Senior Management positions including Strategic Planning, Management Information Systems, Policy and Planning, amongst others,” said the SSB.

Ruiz has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of the West Indies.

“Her capabilities in budgeting, actuarial insight, project planning, human and financial resources will guide the Board in its mission to deliver a customer-centered and financially sustainable program for lifetime coverage to beneficiaries realizing the overall vision of the organization,” said the SSB statement.

The SSB said the board, management, and staff congratulate Ruiz on her appointment and thanked its customers, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders for their continued support.
