Belize Weather: Fair and warm before rain returns Wednesday

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather continues countrywide. Skies will be mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight with isolated showers or thunderstorms.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast and 95 degrees inland and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight it will be 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is slight to light chop.

Tides will be low at 12:27 this afternoon and 11:09 tonight and high at 6:59 this evening. The sun will set at 6:17 this evening and rise Wednesday morning at 5:36.

On Wednesday skies will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly over the north before spreading to most areas Wednesday night.
