Luis August, Carmen Castilla, Victor Figueroa, Roxana Lemus win Brandon Adolphus 5K

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Luis August of Malcolm’s Garage won the Brandon Adolphus Fundraiser 5K run held over the weekend in Orange Walk in 19 minutes and 41.8 seconds while Victor Figueroa of Westrac Ltd took the virtual 5K in 19:01.

Second Place in Orange Walk was taken by Albert Burn of Team Slowgrind in 20:16.7 and 3rd by Amir Castilla of A Runners Mind in 20.33.0.

In the virtual race, Kelvin Aguirres of the Cristo Rey Running Team was second in 19:16 and Westrac’s Victor Rauda finished 3rd in 20:03.

Carmen Castilla of A Runners Mind won the Women’s 5K in Orange Walk in 24:14.9.

Shuga City Run Club took the next two spots with Martha Novelo second in 26:21.6 and Esmirna Diaz running in third in 31:07.5.

In the virtual race, Roxana Lemus of Westrac Ltd was the winner clocking 25 minutes flat. Second place was taken by her teammate Irene Thiessen in 26:27.

Diana Arias of Juiciness was 3rd in 26:54.
