Shyne Barrow meets with Omotayo Alli, Executive Director of the Georgia Public Defender Council, invites her to Belize

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Leader of the Opposition in the House of Representatives Shyne Barrow met with Omotayo Alli, Executive Director of the Georgia Public Defender Council during his visit to the United States, according to a Facebook post.

“She was chosen by the Governor of Georgia to oversee all public defenders and her aim is to ensure young people who enter the system leave better people who will become productive members of society,” Barrow said.

Barrow said Alli has agreed to visit Belize and lend her expertise in training our professionals in this sector and build their capacity.

“She is extremely passionate about helping at risk youth 17-24 years old who have contact with the justice system rehabilitate and transform so they can have an opportunity to realize their full potential in life,” Barrow added.
