Deaths from COVID-19 in Belize and Stann Creek District as Belize hits unwanted milestone

By Aaron Humes: Two females and one male have died of COVID-19 according to information from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Two of the deaths occurred in the Belize District and the other in the Stann Creek District.

Belize has now had 350 deaths from COVID-19. At this time last year, just two had died even as the number of cases in the second wave started going up.

66 persons have died from COVID-19 this year including nine this week.

May they rest in peace.
