House fire claims home on Antelope St, Belize City

By Aaron Humes: A green elevated plywood bungalow house was apparently burned to the ground Wednesday night, the second such fire in two nights after Tuesday night’s conflagration at the Iguana Street Extension home of Lisa Louriano.

Police found the house already on fire around 11:25 Wednesday night and it could not be saved by fire personnel.

The house was not occupied during the fire however the house was rented by one Christopher Hyde. The house was not insured and the estimated cost of damages is yet to be ascertained.

Police and fire investigation continues.
