Ministry of Education hosts conference on the future of education in Belize

By Benjamin Flowers: Today, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science, and Technology, is hosting a briefing to explain the various initiatives being rolled out to adjust the education system to the current climate given the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event gatherers the Ministry of Education Francis Fonseca, high level members of this ministry, along with education stakeholders such as the Belize National Teachers Union, Belize Council of Churches, and the Special Envoy for Families and Children Rosanna Briceno, among many others.

The conference precedes the re-opening of schools, set for Monday, August 23.
