Belize Embassy in Taiwan congratulates Major Ruben Abel Cowo on completion on 18-month Army training in Taiwan

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Embassy in Taiwan congratulated Major Ruben Abel Cowo on completion of an 18-month Army training course in Taiwan.

A statement by the Belize Embassy in (ROC) Taiwan said the President of National Defense University, General Chang Che-Ping (ROC Air Force) requested the attendance of Ambassador Dr. Candice Pitts to participate in the Commencement Ceremony of Belizean Defense Officer, Major Ruben Abel Cowo, on Friday, August 20.

Major Cowo successfully completed his 18 months of training in Army Command and Staff Course at the National Defense University in Taiwan.

“The training is a part of an ongoing program between Taiwan and Belize that provides similar training and leadership courses for defense officers,” said the Belize Embassy.

“Major George Myvette is another Belizean undergoing the same training currently. He will graduate in 2022.”

“The Belize Embassy wishes to congratulate Major Cowo on the successful completion of his training. Belize is proud of you and awaits your contributions to its defense force,” closed the Belize Embassy statement.
