Tenth death reported from COVID-19 this week, active cases near 900

By Aaron Humes: A tenth person has died form COVID-19 this week, bringing the national total to 351 according to data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The death, of a female, was recorded in the Stann Creek District.

81 new cases have been recorded against 56 recoveries, bringing the total number of active cases to 894. Another 509 persons are under investigation.

Seventeen persons are hospitalized and four are in intensive care, with the percentages holding steady.

There have now been 15,415 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March of 2020; 14,149 have recovered.
