University of Belize extends late fee deadline to September 1

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The University of Belize (UB) is giving its students a break to pay the minimum deposit on their semester fees.

“The late fee of $50.00 that became due on August 16th for those who have not yet made their minimum deposit of 25% of their semester billing, has been deferred to September 1st, 2021,” said UB in a statement.

UB said the Budget & Finance Department will review and make adjustments to the accounts of those students who may have already been charged.

“Students are encouraged to review their accounts by August 31, 2021 and contact us at [email protected] if they have any queries with respect to this update,” concluded the statement.
