Drive with caution by Miles 10 and 11 on George Price Highway; BWS working on broken water pipe

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: If you’re traveling on the George Price Highway, drive with caution as you approach Miles 10 and 11 as BWS is working on a broken water pipe.

BWS said it is using heavy equipment and has closed one lane to do repairs to the broken main water pipe which has caused low water pressure to a sizeable area of the Belize District.

BWS said the entire Belize City is being affected, including all areas along the George Price Highway up to Hattieville and all areas along the Phillip Goldson Highway up to Gardenia.

BWS also sent messages by phone to customers saying that from Biscayne to Belize City and from 8 Miles to Hattieville there’s emergency low water pressure up to 6 pm.
