Over 1,900 Belizeans join vaccination rolls

By Aaron Humes: Vaccination numbers continue to climb with 1,913 more persons getting their AstraZeneca and Sinopharm shots.

This pushes the number of vaccinated persons (at least one shot) to 152,484.

The number of fully vaccinated persons stands at 64,901.

To date all vaccinated persons have been over 18, however starting Monday children aged 12 to 17 will be vaccinated at various facilities countrywide with the Pfizer vaccine that arrived on Wednesday from the United States.

Also scheduled to arrive are one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccines for use as well.

Belizeans can continue to sign up for vaccinations at the Ministry of Health and Wellness website www.vrsa.gov.bz.
