By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Vaccination is ongoing today Saturday in Belize City from 8 am to 12 noon at two spots. You just have to walk in to get your shot.
The Ministry of Health said it is conducting vaccination at the Matron Roberts Polyclinic and the Central Health Region.
The Central Health Region is located behind the old Bliss Nursing Center in the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital compound (access between Social Security Board and the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital off Princess Margret Drive or next to Social Security on St Joseph St).
Vaccination is on daily from Monday to Friday at Matron Roberts, the Swift Hall and Port Loyola Health Center in Belize City, and the Caye Caulker Health Center from 8 am to 3 pm. The Central Health region has vaccinations daily as well from 8 am to 4 pm.
In San Pedro, vaccinations are being administered Monday to Friday at the Lions Den. The schedule varies weekly either in the morning or afternoon.
In Ladyville, vaccination against COVID-19 is on daily Tuesday to Friday at the Ladyville Health Center from 8 am to 3 pm. Vaccination is also done at the BDF Price Barracks twice per week.
Additionally, the Ministry of Health and Wellness visits other villages as well.
A schedule is published weekly.
“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans 18 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. Plus, if you already got the first dose and eight weeks have passed, you can go in for the second dose.
