Boy, 12, reports ‘forcible sexual assault’ during tutoring class

By Aaron Humes: A suspect has been named in the forcible sexual assault of a boy in Belize City.

The boy, 12, and his mother told police that around 10 a.m. Saturday the boy was picked up by his English tutor and taken to class at a residence in Belama Phase Four.

However, the complainant said, the tutor forcibly pulled his pants down and stuck his penis inside the boy’s anal cavity without his consent and against his will.

A doctor certified harm and the complainant’s statement was recorded. Police are hunting the suspect as their investigations continue.
