By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health & Wellness (MoHW) is calling for volunteers countrywide to help with its vaccination drive.
“Reach out if you can help us with our vaccination activities,” said the MoHW on social media in its effort to ramp up the vaccination campaign around the country.
The MoHW said it’s calling on anyone who has knowledge of medicine or nursing, first responders, and members of social partners such as the Red Cross, Lion’s Club, and Rotary Club to assist with their vaccination program.
The Ministry is also putting a word out for University and Sixth Form students, in particular nursing and students doing Allied Health.
It’s also calling on anyone with Basic Life Support training to give them a hand.
“Volunteers will be assisting with the vaccination processes across the country,” said the MoHW.
Anyone who wants to volunteer may call toll-free at 0-800-664-2273.
