BWS to hold 20th Annual General Meeting virtually on Friday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize Water Services Limited (BWS) said it’s having its 20th Annual General Meeting at 12:30 pm on Friday August 27, 2021. BWS said the meeting will be held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Last month, the BWS Board of Directors told its members it’s paying “dividends of 7.5 cents ($0.075) per share (equivalent to 5%) for the year ending March 31, 2021.”

BWS advised its shareholders that it’s paying these dividends via bank deposits directly to each Shareholder’s bank or credit union account by August 13. Shareholders who have not yet received payment have been asked to provide BWS with their banking information for the payments to be processed.

BWS advised shareholders that those attending the virtual AGM need to register at [email protected] by 3pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Those who are not able to attend may submit the name and email of their proxies and/or written questions by 3pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
