43 new cases in Old Capital

By Aaron Humes: Once again Belize City leads the COVID-19 table with 43 new cases added out of a total of 52 in the Belize District.

New cases were also seen in Western Paradise (3), Hattieville and Ladyville (2) and Burrell Boom and Lemonal (1). Nine new cases were also reported in San Pedro Town.

San Ignacio reported its first cases in days following the outbreak at the community hospital with 2, while Belmopan added three and suburbs Las Flores and San Martin added a total of six. Cases were also reported in Ontario, Roaring Creek and Valley of Peace (2).

Corozal Town added two cases and there was one each in Paraiso, San Joaquin, San Pedro and San Victor. Orange Walk Town added two new cases as did Trial Farm to its north, with one in Yo Creek.

Down south there were six new cases in Independence, four in Sarawee, two each in Alta Vista and Hope Creek and one each in Pomona and Seine Bight. Punta Gorda Town added four cases and there were one each in Forest Home and San Antonio.
