By Aaron Humes: Relatively dry conditions prevail in our weather according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies today will be mostly sunny with isolated showers and the chance of an afternoon thunderstorm inland. Tonight it will be partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms mainly over the South, where a flood warning is in effect.
High temperatures are 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees inland, and 84 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland, and 66 degrees in the hills.
Winds are from the east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is choppy.
Tides will be high at 11:46 this morning and low at 6:22 this evening. The sun sets at 6:11 this evening and rises Thursday morning at 5:37.
The weather continues generally fair with only isolated showers and thunderstorms developing on Thursday.
