Ministry of Education headquarters in Belmopan temporarily closed due to COVID-19

By Aaron Humes: According to the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, its headquarters situated at the West Block Building, Independence Plaza, Belmopan, will be temporarily closed from Thursday, August 26, 2021, to Friday, August 27, 2021.

An official statement explains, “The closure is necessary to facilitate the sanitization of the office and the testing of staff members for COVID-19.”

The Ministry goes on to apologize for any inconvenience this closure may cause and thank the public for its cooperation and understanding.

A number of Government agency offices have been forced to close from time to time since the beginning of the pandemic for sanitization due to COVID-19 infections.
