BWS paying shareholders dividends of 7.5 cents per share, having 20th Annual General Meeting virtually on Friday

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize Water Services Limited (BWS) said it’s having its 20th Annual General Meeting at 12:30 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021. BWS said the meeting will be held virtually due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Prior to the meeting, the BWS Board of Directors has been paying its shareholders “dividends of 7.5 cents ($0.075) per share (equivalent to 5%) for the year ending March 31, 2021.”

BWS has been paying these dividends via bank deposits directly to each shareholder’s bank or credit union account. The company also asked shareholders who had not yet received payment to provide BWS with their banking information for the payments to be processed.

BWS advised shareholders that those attending the virtual AGM need to register at [email protected] by 3 pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Those who are not able to attend were asked to submit the name and email of their proxies and/or written questions by 3 pm on Wednesday, August 25, 2021.
