Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan Dr. Candice Pitts receives donation of 50 oxygen concentrators from Taiwan

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Belize’s Ambassador to Taiwan, Dr. Candice Pitts received, on behalf of the government of Belize, a donation of 50 oxygen concentrators from the government of Taiwan.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexander Yui, and Director General of Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, Florencia Hsie, handed the concentrators to Dr. Pitts at a brief ceremony on Thursday in Taipei.

The Belize Embassy in Taiwan said that on behalf of the government and people of Belize, Ambassador Pitts thanked the government of Taiwan for this generous donation. Dr. Pitts also thanked Taiwan “for standing ready and being ever so willing to render global and humanitarian assistance.”
