Farmers in Waterhole, Cayo, receive technical assistance from Ministry of Agriculture

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE) continues its efforts to assist farmers to improve agricultural production in the country said MAFSE in a Facebook post on Friday. Apart from assistance to carrot farmers in Corozal today, MAFSE is today also assisting farmers in the Waterhole area of Cayo.

Extension Officer Jesse Madrid along with Livestock Officer Bernadette Cob today provided technical assistance to farmers in Waterhole said the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Enterprise (MAFSE).

“Some of the activities the farmers are involved in are cattle farming, tilapia cultivation, and the production of assorted vegetables such as tomatoes, cabbages, watermelon as well as root crops, cocoyam, and grains,” said MAFSE in a Facebook post on Friday.
