Belize Weather: Fair, fine day gives way to developing showers

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service reports that generally fair weather is expected today.

Skies will be cloudy at times with isolated showers or thunderstorms especially over inland areas this afternoon, increasing along the coast and over the South tonight.

High temperatures are 89 degrees along the coast, 94 degrees inland, and 81 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures are 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 73 degrees inland, and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are from the east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots; sea conditions are slight.

Tides are low at 8:25 this morning and 7:59 this evening and high at 2:04 this afternoon.

The sun sets at 6:09 this evening and rises at 5:38 Sunday morning.

For Sunday morning a few showers and thunderstorms will affect the north and inland areas in the afternoon before becoming isolated Sunday night.
