BREAKING: 18 year old shot dead in Unitedville

By BBN Staff: Breaking Belize News (BBN) broke the story that two young boys were shot in Unitedville in the Cayo district just before 9:00 pm.

Both young boys were rushed to the Western Regional Hospital, but one of the victims, 18 year old Lloyd Myvette succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead just around 9:30 pm. Myvette was shot to the upper right of the chest.

The other victim is a very young minor and he was shot to the navel area of the belly. He is currently receiving treatment at the Western Regional Hospital.

This shooting incident, which occurred in the Spanish Town area of the village, is the latest in a spate of shootings that has occurred recently in Unitedville.

Police has nabbed a suspect who is originally from Belize City but has been residing in Unitedville for some time now.
