By BBN Staff: Police have detained one suspect pending charges in the investigation of the weekend robbery of Love Town smoothie shop in San Ignacio Town, Cayo District.
Superintendent of Police Hilberto Romero, deputy head of the National Criminal Investigation Branch (NCIB), said that apart from the suspect, a cellphone stolen from the scene was recovered.
The culprits had also stolen an undisclosed amount of cash, which Romero says still has not been recovered.
Another man is being sought in connection with the incident which happened around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 28.
