By Aaron Humes: Reports suggest a group of youth from the village of Roaring Creek, Cayo District, were seen out after curfew hours Friday morning, and some villagers believe they were allegedly practicing “witchcraft.”
Police called in religious leaders such as Pastor Scott Stirm, who told Love FM he could find no evidence of such.
Nonetheless the youths were counseled and Stirm chalked it up to “wanting a little excitement.”
He said that he is thankful things didn’t escalate further than necessary and that police saw fit to call them in.
As for the wayward youth, they will have hopefully learned a valuable lesson from their experience, Stirm said.
