By BBN Staff: The number of Belizeans fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is just under 70,000 according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).
The MOHW’s latest vaccination report says that 167,596 Belizeans have been vaccinated (received at least one vaccine dose) and 69,911 Belizeans have been fully vaccinated (received two vaccine doses).
The report also showed that 2,080 people were vaccinated on August 30. This figure includes adults who received the AstraZeneca and Sinopharm vaccines, as well as those 12-17 years old who received the Pfizer vaccine.
Vaccination appointments can be made at https://vrsa.health.gov.bz/.
Those vaccinated are still required by law to wear face masks in public, social distance, and abide by all other regulations in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
