By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Health and Wellness said vaccination continues this week in the Independence area at Independence, Placencia, Bella Vista, Banana Farm 8, San Roman/Santa Rosa, and Trio.
The vaccination is for all persons 12 years and up with Pfizer-BioNTech for those 12-17 and AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines for those 18 and older.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness’ vaccination schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, August 31
Independence Polyclinic: 10am – 2pm
Bella Vista Polyclinic: 1pm – 3pm
San Juan Bosco Primary School: 9am – 2pm
Wednesday, September 1
Independence Polyclinic: 1pm – 3pm
United Community Primary School at San Roman/Santa Rosa: 9am – 2pm
Thursday, September 2
Independence Polyclinic: 9am – 2pm
Trio Village: 9am – 12 noon
Friday, September 3
Independence Polyclinic: 8:30am – 2pm
Placencia Basketball Court: 9am – 2pm
Bella Vista Polyclinic: 8:30am – 2pm
Saturday, September 4
Independence Polyclinic: 9am – 2pm
On Monday, August 30, vaccines were administered at the Independence Polyclinic, the Placencia Health Center, and Banana Farm
“Before you relax, get vax,” says the Ministry of Health and Wellness as they continue encouraging Belizeans 12 years and up to get vaccinated against COVID-19 at any of its vaccination sites countrywide. Plus, any person who already got the first dose and eight weeks have passed, you can go in for the second dose.
