Gamblers busted on Nurse Sea Street out on bail

By BBN Staff: Several people who were arrested at an illegal gambling house on Nurse Sea Street Belize City are all out on bail.

Police say they had been conducting surveillance at the home of 55-year-old Lester Levi, and decided to conduct a raid last Friday, August 27, where ten people were arrested.

Those people are Jermy Zuniga, Gerald Tillett, Marlon Westby, Carlton Roaches, Errol Flowers, Kyra Parham, Shanice Valero, Marlon Smith, Edward Saldano, Jeffery Usher.

The patrons were read two charges when they appeared before Magistrate, Audrey Grinage of Court #6 for attending a private gathering and using a place as a common house, to which, they all pleaded not guilty.

They were all granted bail in the sum of $1,000 and are all due back in Court #6 on November 5, 2021.
