Woman dead after accident on Benque Viejo Road

By Aaron Humes: One woman is dead and a driver detained after a fatal accident on the Benque Viejo Road on Wednesday.

A vehicle lost control and crashed into the Mopan River, causing the death of Brenda Guerra who was pronounced at the San Ignacio hospital.

One person is said to be detained as part of continued police investigations.
