By Aaron Humes: Wet weather conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service.
Skies today will be cloudy with a few showers, isolated thunderstorms, and periods of rain at first, decreasing and becoming isolated by this evening. A few showers and thunderstorms will develop along the coast tonight. A flood watch remains in effect for low-lying and flood-prone areas for the next few days.
Temperatures today are 87 degrees along the coast, 91 degrees inland, and 80 degrees in the hills. Tonight, it will be 79 degrees along the coast, 74 inland, and 68 in the hills.
Winds are from the east at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is light chop.
High tide is at 8:34 this morning and 9:38 tonight and low tide at 3:42 this afternoon. Sunset this evening is at 6:03 and sunrise Monday morning at 5:39.
Monday will see a few showers and thunderstorms mainly over the South.
