Belize Weather: Mostly fair weather returns

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says a relatively moist airflow prevails. Skies will be sunny with a few cloudy spells and partly cloudy to cloudy tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be generally isolated in the daytime, then affect mostly the south tonight.

High temperatures are 88 degrees along the coast, 94 degrees inland, and 84 in the hills. Tonight it will be 79 degrees along the coast, 74 inland, and 68 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 9:19 this morning and 10:07 this evening and low at 4:12 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:02 this evening and rises at 5:39 Tuesday morning.

Tuesday sees partly cloudy to cloudy skies with showers or thunderstorms mainly in the south.
