Breaking: Red Bank robbers get into shootout with police

By BBN Staff: It has been confirmed that a robbery in Red Bank Village earlier this evening resulted in a shootout between the robbers and police.

Responding to reports of the robbery at a Chinese grocery store in Red Bank, officers set up a checkpoint at the Mile 6 marker where they ended up in a gun battle with the robbers.

The men left their vehicle behind and fled into some nearby bushes, with police in pursuit. No officers were reportedly injured in the exchange of fire, and it has yet to be seen if any of the culprits were hit.
