By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness says that over 17,000 people were vaccinated yesterday as the countrywide vaccination campaign, which now includes students ages 12-17 years, continues.
The Ministry’s report for September 6th, 2021, shows that 14,875 people between the ages of 12-17 years and 2,197 aged 18 years and over were vaccinated that day.
The latest round of vaccinations brings the total number of people who have been vaccinated (received one vaccine dose) up to 173,007 and brought the number of people fully vaccinated (received two vaccine doses) up to 76,279.
“Today’s vaccination data includes the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines,” the MOHW said.
