BREAKING: Cousin of murder victim says they ‘do not trust the system’

By Aaron Humes: A long fight is just beginning for the family and friends of the late Private Jesse Escobar to obtain justice for his death.

Cousin Rocio Quiroz told reporters that a simple murder charge is not enough; Private Valencio must be made an example of.

And she baldly stated she personally has no trust of Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, whom she accused of “covering up for the killers.”

The court session was closed to the press and spectators allegedly over COVID concerns but Quiroz says this only feeds her suspicion, also fueled by past run-ins with the law. She was careful to emphasize that she has had positive relations with the majority of officers, but in this case, only a black and white, slam dunk conviction will suffice.
