By BBN Staff: Belize has recorded another 132 cases of COVID-19, according to the latest daily report from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

The report shows that the new cases were detected from a sample batch of 1,440 tests.

New cases were split between 77 females and 55 males.

The country’s national total for infections has reached 17,251, while the daily positivity rate stood at 9.39.

The Belize District continues to lead in newly reported cases, representing 62 of the latest cases, 48 of which were from Belize City.

There were no newly reported deaths associated with the virus.
