Belize Weather: Wet weather to usher in the Tenth after fine day

By Aaron Humes: The National Meteorological Service says generally fair weather prevails but changes will be coming tonight. Skies will be sunny today with cloudy spells and few showers and isolated thunderstorms in the south only. Tonight, it will be cloudy with showers and thunderstorms over most areas.

High temperatures are 85 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 89 degrees inland, and 82 in the hills. Tonight it will be 78 degrees along the coast, 73 inland, and 68 in the hills.

Winds are easterly at 5 to 15 knots and the sea state is light chop.

Tides will be high at 11:37 this morning and 11:40 this evening and low at 5:48 this evening. The sun is down at a minute to six and rises at 5:39 Friday morning.

Showers and thunderstorms will develop countrywide on Friday and increase on Friday night.
