By BBN Staff: Following today’s announcement by Michel Chebat, the Minister of Health & Wellness of the implementation of new COVID-19 measures to take effect on October 1, 2021, the ministry will be hosting consultations with stakeholders and the public.
According to a press release from the Government of Belize, consultations will provide further explanations on the implementation of the new measures, which will require proof of vaccination to enter public buildings.
The statement notes that dates for the consultations will be announced in the coming weeks and ends by saying that the Government of Belize encourages Belizeans to get vaccinated and to continue to wash hands, wear masks, and social distance.
