By Benjamin Flowers: The Ministry of Health and Wellness in its latest vaccination report noted that over 15,000 teens were newly vaccinated on Wednesday, September 8.
The report showed that 15,898 young people between the ages of 12-17 years and 1,996 people aged 18 years and over were vaccinated that day.
The latest round of vaccinations brings the total number of people who have been vaccinated (received one vaccine dose) up to 174,263 and brought the number of people fully vaccinated (received two vaccine doses) up to 79,045 .
“Today’s vaccination data includes the AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines,” the MOHW said.
